Kestrel Full Installer Release v1.42.1 (Now Available)

The latest release of the Kestrel TSCM Professional Software is now online for immediate download by authorized technical operators. The latest v1.42-1 (Full Installer) replaces the v1.42-0 (Full Installer). We have also released an equivalent (Drop File) at v1.42-53 that can be used with the v1.42.0 (Full Installer). The new release addresses a number of minor bug fixes that include a logic adjustment within the TCP feature, where the auto location numbering would reset when the application was shutdown and reopened. It is now possible to pick-up where the operator left off during the TCP wideband dimensional geo-location process. We have also corrected a bug in the display of the audio-filter selection bank, where the filter frequency failed to display under some circumstances. We have also fixed a video decoder crash condition caused by underlaying Windows code. Defensive code has been implemented to firewall the video-decoder from the offending Windows code that resulted in a heap corruption, application crash condition. We have also included additional features and adjustments to the Kestrel Reference Trace (KRT) feature. For anyone new to the Kestrel TSCM Professional Software community, our Global Spectrum Analysis Database (GSAD) is the only standards-based, end-user driven, internationally contributed spectrum analysis reference database. The ability to import, export, display, show and hide any number of captured anywhere, any time spectrum traces and share the interactive files across the global Kestrel TSCM Professional Software community, is fully realized as a major milestone and achievement in advanced spectrum analytics. The latest addition to the KRT sub-set permits the operator to normalize each independent trace (positional-drag) across the ambient noise floor. This technique provides a powerful visual overlay with direct reference to the current project noise floor and provides a means to quickly reset the offset to 0dB utilizing a simple double-click. The next development step is a major generational milestone in scientific research to include the long-awaited Kestrel Central Visualizer (KCV) | Remote Radio Management (RRM) feature that will revolutionize the nature of the Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) sector for both the private and public sector for years to come.
