We are pleased to confirm that the first edition of the Kestrel TSCM | SIGINT Newsletter for the new year is now available for immediate online viewing or for download as a PDF formatted file. The January 2022 edition marks the 79th issue of our popular monthly TSCM focused newsletter. This latest edition of the newsletter addresses the importance of the Kestrel TSCM Professional Software Waterfall Display (WFD) over the often over relied upon RF Spectrum Display (RSD) during the detection, identification and analysis process of TSCM related signal events. The WFD display technology provides innovative resources that allow the technical operator to better focus and bring clarity to the Signal of Interest (SOI) during runtime. Standard Test and Measurement spectrum analysis tools do not provide the operator with the flexibility or unique resources required to bring focus to specific Signals of Interest (SOI) and separate multiple signals that occupy the space spectrum allocation. The January edition provides the latest Information concerning the 15th Canadian Technical Security Conference (CTSC). There has been considerable progress relative to the Kestrel TSCM Professional Software during the past couple of months with the release of a new Quick Add feature for the selection of multiple spectrum bands at the setup wizard level. We have also completed work on an new auto update feature to keep the application on the leading cutting edge of new threat detection technology in near real time. A new 10 Second KIQ IQ capture feature adds a single button capture option without accessing the IQ record menu structure. We have completed work on the new Kestrel Hawk-Eye Optical Probe Kit that extends the ability of the technical operator to capture and analyze optical emissions from LIFI sources, Passive Optical Laser, and Photonic Fiber-Optic light sources utilizing Visible Light Communication (VLC) and Visible Light Modulation (VLM) (visible and Infrared) light sources.
