Kestrel Down Under

With a cautious resumption of international travel and business resumption opportunities, our technical security specialist’s and technical security instructor’s are now getting back to the business of long overdue international-based training, consulting, professional services, and the delivery of our popular certification training programs. Our team has been deployed to Australia this past week for a series of business meetings, while conducting advanced software focused familiarization training for the Kestrel TSCM Professional Software. Additional international training has been confirmed for Europe, United Kingdom, United States of America, and Canada in the coming months. There are several options available for the delivery of training and certification programs, as we gear up for a heavy travel schedule in the coming months, including Kanata (Ottawa) Ontario Canada, and at our high-security Red Deer Training Centre (RDTC) training and research facility commissioned in 2019, but hampered by COVID restrictions, is now booking for non-resident training programs. Our RDTC facility is located on a 160 acre rural site, just over an hours drive from the Calgary and Edmonton International Airports. The RDTC facility is has been the primary delivery site for the monthly All Things Kestrel | Virtual Classroom sessions and the 5-day Certified Technical Operator (CTO) program during the past couple of years. We encourage all Kestrel TSCM Professional Software users to attend the 5-day or 7-day certification program and attend refresher training annually. The software is aggressively seeing new development, features and capability with releases every couple of weeks. The latest version includes an automatic software update technology to ensure that operators are always deploying the latest software. This week during our travel to Australia, an operator suggested feature has been already coded and is in pre-release testing. This latest operator contributed feature provides the means to export TCP locations and import them into a new Kestrel Project File (KPF). The ability to pre-configure locations for new TCP projects is also supported. Watch for the new feature to be rolled up in the next auto update.
