The title of this post is a unique code than can only be deciphered by a competent technical operator who has embraced change and entered a new era of Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM). GSAD MDA-KRT EDM-KRT combines Kestrel community database support directly back to the software in the form of enhanced threshold threat detection. GSAD MDA-KRT EDM-KRT represent the 6th generation of advanced standards-based exceedance detection. Not bad for a software started from the ground up, just a little more than a decade ago. So lets define what you will find in the 100th October 2023 TSCM SIGINT Newsletter! First, the Global Spectrum Analysis Database (GSAD) contains the Kestrel community submissions of radio agnostic, spectrum in spectrum Kestrel Reference Traces (KRT) files that are captured by professional spectrum warriors worldwide and submit the files for inclusion in the GSAD library, for the good of the greater Kestrel community. Our reward, is to extend the capability of the GSAD-KRT feature, by introducing threat detection modeling for machine learning AI based integration with the Minimum Detection Amplitude (MDA) model and the Exceedance Detect Model (EDM) to introduce a measure of machine learning via an operator-defined live ambient spectrum data-set. Our basic AI approach first appeared with our learning model within the EDM feature and is now included within the MDA capability as a powerful enhancement. The GSAD files have recently been reorganized and alphabetically distributed across various country categories and all recent user submissions have now been appended to the official database. As the next software auto-update rolls out, additional supplemental documentation with provide user deployment guidance in deploying these latest innovations. We have also exposed an operator control to decouple the MDA feature in the presence of a multiple band deployment requiring , independent or separate band level operation and detection strategies.
